'Born in Trench Town', a new documentary film directed by Greg Pond (Professor of Art and department chair) and produced by Dixon Myers (Director, University Outreach Program) was featured this morning on the Jamaican TV show, Smile Jamaica. The film is winning prizes and attracting a lot of highly deserved attention. Greg and Dixon are in Jamaica as a part of the nation's 50th anniversary of independence celebrations. 'Born in Trench Town' has its press launch tonight in Kingston, Jamaica.
