Jessica Wohl exhibition at Piedmont College, Athens, GA
Art faculty Jessica Wohl's exhibition, 'Within These Walls', is now on display at the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art at Piedmont College through April 4, with a reception to be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 4. The museum is located at 567 Georgia Street in Demorest and is open from 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The Carlos Gallery in the Nabit Art Building at University of the South is
pleased to present SEAM, an exhibition of sculptures and installations by
Knoxville artist Jason Brown. Brown’s work is often situated in urban and
rural landscapes in order to question human relationships with the natural
world. In this new series, he explores the controversial practice of
mountaintop removal coal mining that is now prevalent throughout
Appalachia.
Art alumna Edie Shimel to show at Carlos Gallery

The Carlos Gallery in the Nabit Art Building at University of the South is pleased to present Spaces, an exhibition of photographs by Boston based artist and Sewanee alumna Edie Shimel (C’04). In this new series, Shimel uses various definitions of space to challenge the representational notions of photography and ideas of the ephemeral.

Chattanooga’s 10x10 festival features work by Greg Pond
From the Chattanooga Chamber web site: "(from Wednesday, April 18 to April 21) The Walnut Street Bridge Amphitheater will feature a musical installation by (sculpture, video and electronic media professor) Greg Pond in which strings are strung from the bridge into a giant harp-like instrument that will be played remotely with a controller."
Sanford Biggers at Univesity Art Gallery and Carlos Gallery
The University Art Gallery of the University of the South presents "Sanford Biggers: Moon Medicine," an exhibition of recent work by the internationally acclaimed artist Sanford Biggers, curated by Miki Garcia, Executive Director of the Santa Barbara Contemporary Arts Forum. "Moon Medicine" will be staged in both the University Art Gallery and in the Carlos Gallery of the Nabit Art Building on the campus of the University of the South. "Moon Medicine" opens to the public on Friday, February 17th at 4:30 with a talk by Biggers and Garcia, and a reception in Convocation Hall.
