Angela Berry

Visiting Assistant Professor of Art and Art History

Angela Berry is a Bay-Area based multidisciplinary artist, writer and educator. Her work has been exhibited in venues across the US and abroad, including group exhibitions at The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, New Orleans, LA, Jonathan Ferrera Gallery, New Orleans, LA, Get This Gallery, Atlanta, GA, Mass Gallery, Austin, TX, Vox Populi, Philadelphia, PA, Jewish Community Center, San Francisco, CA, Volcano Museum, Iceland, and the Ganza Art Lab, Tokyo, Japan. Her work and curatorial collaborations have been reviewed in Art in America, Art Forum and Art Papers. She is the 2018-2019 recipient of the Marjorie and Joseph Rubenson Endowment for Art and Science. She received an MFA and MA in Visual & Critical Studies from the California College of the Arts, where she was awarded The Bernard Osher Foundation Scholarship between 2014 - 2017. She has taught in the Undergraduate Photography Program at the California College of the Arts and is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Art and Art History at Sewanee: The University of the South for the Fall of 2018.
